We are seeking a specialised Rural Skills Coordinator to help link farmers, their families and farm workers with qualifications and off-farm employment opportunities in East Gippsland.
The role includes identifying relevant skills that can be formally accredited and/or additional training requirements, connect and facilitate (not limited to) career advisors; employment services; training providers and financial services, as well as engage with local business communities to create work placements and employment opportunities.
Experience in the management of employment and training pathways is essential with empathy; compassion and appreciation of farming and rural community issues.
