A workshop developed to help communities understand drought, and its impacts on the people who are affected by drought.  It was developed by the Bouverie Centre in conjunction with the drought counsellors across Victoria in 2010, to support rural communities who are intrinsically different to those in the city.

No Bull aims to help rural people to understand how stresses (such as drought or floods) affect us.  How stress can develop into major mental health issues that have long-term effects.

This workshop looks at how families and communities:

  • Learn to recognise the signs of stress
  • how to connect with someone they are concerned about
  • getting help
  • self-care
