Did you know there is a grant available of up to $3,000 for costs related to obtaining a land-use planning permit?

Ag Vic are running free workshops specifically for small-scale pig and poultry producers.

These workshops will assist producers in obtaining a land-use planning permit according to the 2018 planning reforms for animal industries.

The workshops will:

• Inform and educate small-scale pig and poultry producers about their planning requirements;
• Provide participants with guidance on how to complete a planning application;
• Provide information and guidance on the development of a property and locality plan and nutrient management plan for small-scale pig and poultry farms to support a planning permit application;
• Help participants to identify advice and site improvements needed to support their planning permit application.
