Many Gippsland farmers have had increased rainfall over the last couple of months which is creating more challenges for the feet of our cows. Being adaptable to make changes to routines and how lame cows are treated is important to reduce the number of lame cows and the severity of lameness.

Will and Mark have been lameness enthusiasts for a long time. In their different roles, they have treated many lame cows, done plenty of preventative trimming and coached farmers, veterinarians and students with lameness treatments and prevention strategies.

This lunch time webinar will cover

  • Tips and tricks for reducing the impact of lameness on cows during wet conditions
  • Prevention measures to reduce milk production loss, reduce cull cows and save money on treatments?
